We were glad to see all of you that came out to the Halloween party and we hope you had a blasty blast (in the face)! We know midterms are going on right now, but here at Ridge Runners we Honey Badger, and Honey Badger, for those of you who don’t know, don’t give a shit! We have a few things planned this week so check ‘dem chickens out below!

Big Trip:

First and foreskinmost, there is still room on the Aspen Ski Trip! Friday we filled Bus # 1 and have been getting lots of disappointed emails from people who did not get their deposits in soon enough. Fear no more, because we are shooting to fill a second bus! There is 55 people to a bus, and 78 people going on the trip so far, so we are aiming to fill a second bus!

-People who still egar beavers have one extra week, $100 deposit due by this Friday 10/28, in person cash or check! You will be put on a wait list for the second bus. You can pay at any of our events or stop by our weekly meeting on Thursday during you-hour in the funbary bld. 15 rm. 1808.

-People on the wait list will receive their money back if we are unable to get you to the mountain, highly unlikely, we want all and everyone of you to share this bad ass, once-in-a-life-time trip, and will do whatever we can to get you there. We have carpooled up to SLO, hopped on their bus, and out partied them before and are not afraid to do it again!

Thursday: 10/27

-U-Hour: Library Rm. 1808- weekly meeting! Stop by, kick easy with your eboard, and fellow members! We will eating pizza, discussing events, and answering any questions you may have about the Big Trip, the club, or the Second bus wait list! You can also pay your club dues and pick up your club shirts!

-@ 8Pm Sushi Night with RRCPP @ Sushi Cruise!
On Thirsty Thursday night your favorite club will be on a boat mother 'effers! We wearing flippy floppies and munchin down with chippy choppie sticks! This event is always a blast some grub-a-dub-dub on some all you can eat Sushi! The more we eat, the better the drink specials get!

Friday: 10/28

-@ 8pm Anenberg’s Annual Halloween party!
This is one of the coolest parties of the year with load of nectar prizes and sweet costumes! It will be at the Buffalo Inn in Upland, CA as always. There will be an individual contest where the winner will take home 6 lift tickets to Mountain High, along with $250 in Anenberg product. Also, for the first time this year, we will be having a group costume contest. The best group contest will get 1 lift ticket to Mountain High for each person in the group, along with $200 in Anenberg products!

We are tired of carrying your shit, I mean shirt around! Say wad up and meet your fellow members! Club dues are $40 for the year!




Friday 10/21:

-9PM, Alright Bitches, Halloween Bash!

It’s that time for the year to Eddie the Yeti to kick off the Halloween season with the biggest and baddest bash thus far! So break out your Borat man-G’s and your best Ke$ha costumes and lets get this mother ‘effer poppin! Everyone is welcomed commuters, dormers, villagers, suiters, Greeks, and geeks because that’s what this club is all about, don’t be shy! This is obliviously a costume party so remember that less is more! Also there is a pong tourney going down so bring you A game, trick shots, and partner. Winners receive $40 bucks, shirts, and bragging rights until the next tourney! First come first serve on the tourney, first 20 teams bitches! Nectar and Juice provided!

When we hit Vegas, for some of you it will be your first time, the rolling party stops, and then parties harder! All the way to Colorado, where you are staying in a world class resort, mo-fuggin Aspen! Yea, just like you’ve seen on dumb and dumber, I’m talking about a place where the beer flows like wine. Where the beautiful women instinctively flock like salmon of Capistrano. I’m talking about Aspen!” You will be staying slope side in 2 story condos(6ppl per room) with enough beds for everyone. Every night is a scheduled party with our friends at cal poly SLOW! Oh yea, I almost forgot, you get to ride 5 days on the best snow America has to offer!

We were glad to see all of you at the Big Trip Revealing after and hope you guys had a smashing good time. That is the only free party we throw so pay your club dues now and get into all of all parties for free for the rest of the year! So for those of you who could not make the meeting last Thursday, well you ‘effed up, we are going to ASPEN SNOWMASS this year for our biggest trip ever! Everyone is invited to this once in a lifetime college experience! Tuesday 10/11:

@ 7:30 Pm-You can find us at our local watering hole Cantina Express for taco Tuesday! Come by, have a few, play some pong, and talk to us about the trip or club membership. This is a great opertunity to pay your club dues ($40) and throw down your $100 Dollar deposit for the trip! Spots are filling up fast!

Thursday 10/13:

YOU-HOUR (noon)- We will be having our first general club meeting In the Library (1st floor) Room 1802. We will have pizza for all of our paid members and showing a snow vid and talking about future events, so come hang out and meet the sickest club on campus! All are welcome to see how we roll so stop by. Also this is a great time to pay club dues, get your club shirt, or throw down your deposit for the Big Trip. Feel free to ask any questions about the trip, believe us, you will not be the only person with questions like, “You mean all I have to basically buy is food? Everything else is included on the trip?” Hells yea man! This trip is a steal!

Friday 10/14:

@6Pm-We are heading out to Venice beach to hang out with our friends from Arbor Collective, makers of some sweet shred sticks and clothing that is all eco-friendly! They are premiering the new Think Thank Snow vid “Ransack Rebellion!” Arbor’s movies premiers are always a crazy good time, all they ask is a 5 dollar donation that goes to POW! They have free beer for everyone 21 and up too (all ages are welcome)! Last time our members won a snowboard and long board at this event some come out and see a sick vid. We will be carpooling from campus in LOT B ( by the suites & baseball field) leaving at 6pm sharp so arrive at 5:30 if you want to car pool! BIG TRIP ASPEN SNOWMASS!It’s time for Ridge Runner’s Infamous BIG TRIP. This year we are doing it up like never before! You heard right, we are going to Aspen Snowmass this year in Colorado! This is the biggest and baddest trip we have done to date! Why? Because this is 4 Mountains all rolled into one! This trip has a combined total of: over 5,300 shredtasic acres, 329 trails of fluffy pow pow, and 5 terrain parks for you jib jabin park rats. Not to mention the combine total of over 13,300 feet of vertical rise! You have the choice of riding Aspen, Snowmass, Aspen Highlands, and Buttermilk. That’s right son, the big bad 4! Believe us when we tell you that that is only half of the trip! We are taking party buses up stacked with beverages and college kids (Always a great miX)! Every night there is a scheduled party with our fellow shredders from Cal Poly SLO at a sick venue in the village! Parties like: Ugly Sweater Party, Wine & Cheese party, Pub Crawl, ABC party (Anything But Clothes)… So don’t miss out on this ONCE-IN-A-LIFETIME trip! This is sure to be one of the coolest weeks of your life! We have been preparing for our revealing of this year’s BIG trip. This is our kickoff event that gets the snowball rolling to our most outrageous, totally steezalicous, incredibly Gnarly, and outright BAMF year to date! That’s right son! You heard right!
