It has been a long ass time since we’ve done one of these. First off, we hope everyone had the craziest steezalicious summer of all time; partying, relaxin, chillaxin all cool in preparation for this year with, the best club on campus, Ridge Runners!

School starts this week and we can’t wait to share what we have in store for you Gnarnians! Your E-board has been up to no good mischievous business in order to deliver one of the gnarliest years to date. This club is meant to better lives at Cal Poly, that’s just what we do best. Skiing and snowboarding is just in our main excuse for getting together and having good times! We have members who shred all year long (surf, bike, skate, moto) providing a plethora of people to hang out with!

Time has officially ran out to sign up for BIG TRIP 2013 to Jackson Hole, Wyoming! But we are so excited to see so many people going on this gnarly trip. So with that said, can December cum any faster! 

In the next couple of weeks we have some fun stuff coming up and hopefully soon our local mountains will be open so we can hit the slopes.

Today 9/25: Bronco Fusion (AkA Yeti Fusion)
-Bronco fusion is probably the coolest free thing our penny pinching school puts on all year so don’t miss it. None of you have homework or tests some come out, stop by our booth, spin our will and get free stuff, scope the potential, and enjoy a free concert ! Don't miss this shizz! It's free so why not, plus we will be there all day doin it real big, so come out and end your summer with a blast in a glass!

Thursday 9/26: First day of school
-You can find us out on campus during U-Hour with swag, rockstars, and more swagger than Mick Jagger! Stop by say what up and get all the info on our BIG TRIP revealing date! The BiG trip is something you will surely have to attend this year!

If you haven't been to one of our big trip reveals don't be shy, all are welcome and we give you free stuff! Kick your college year off right and check out a trip that will change your life! Just ask previous big trippers!

Hey Ridge Runners!
So as you can see our Webmaster has been working hard to hook us up with a phat NEW website. Your executive board has also been working really hard to ensure that your 2013-2014 season will be spectacular. We have many things planned and are hoping to drop some new deets on your ass real soon. We also finally have a date set for our BIG TRIP Reveal!!! So make sure you bring yourself, bring your friends, and definitely bring your attitude! We will be revealing the undisclosed location to you and having a shit ton of fun. There will be games, raffles, and competitions. Also our good friends from Mt. High will be there to sale lift tickets and season passes. So remember, Thursday, October 3rd from 6pm-9pm its going down @ Ursa Major in the BSC!

Tomorrow, come swing by the club meeting for more info about the "event" on Friday as well as some sick upcoming events like: Redbull Switchboard, Sushi and Broomball, fundraising opportunities for the club, and more!

This Friday morning, we got a decent size group heading up to Bear, not only to shred, but to Harlem Shake it in the half pipe!! If you need a ride, use the group page and set some carpools up! Definitely gonna be a good day to ride, the mountains just got hooked up big time with some fresh pow!

First things first...HUGE thanks to everyone that came out to the Big Trip Reveal and after party last Thursday - as you can see you got a shit ton in store for you this year and it's just getting started!!

For those of you that don't know already....get ready to make that O-Canada-Face!! That's right, we're going to Whistler, Canada babyy!!!!! This is a once in a lifetime time experience at a cost that you wouldn't be able to beat! Total cost to you is $725...which includes: transportation to and from, 4 out of 5 days of lift tickets, accommodations for the week, get into events free...and the TIME OF YOUR LIFEE!!! (The total cost does NOT cover food). Ski all day and party all night...hell with it, you know it's gonna be a party all week long! We will be heading up to the great white north right after finals...December 8-14th. So mark your calendars, start saving your money now..and get ready for the SICKEST trip to date!!!

Tuesday: Come kick it, grab some grub, meet new people, and just have a good time down at Cantinas for Taco Tuesday! Starting around 8-8:30pm

Thursday:
          - We will be having our first meeting during u-hour (12pm). Remember, if you paid your dues and made the best decision of your life by becoming a Ridge Runner....we will be hookin you up with some free pizza! We will be talking about not only this weeks events but everything we got in store for you this month! Come swing by..see what we are all about. If you're not a member already and you're just dying to be a part of this badass club...dont worry because we will be collecting dues all year long! Our meeting will be held in Room 1808 (first floor of the library)...be sure to check our facebook page/group because there's a chance the location can change.

         -"Howl at the Moon" is a 21+ event only (sorry bout it). Basically, this is a pretty sweet hook-up that we got from our Secretary, Katie. First 100 people that have ID and mention Katie's name at the door get in fo FREEEE! Also, you will be gettin hooked up with specials all night!
