What up Ballers!

That’s right this week we are having Broomball, Wednesday night at 9:30 to be exact! THANKS to all who made it up to Mt High for our filming day, keep an eye out for your part in the yearly vid! We laid down some MAD footy and got clips of back to back, TO BACK, Backflips, some five-4th’s, and some pride crusing falls! Were going try and get another filming sesh in before the end of the season for those who missed out! OH YEA, LOCAL MOUNTAINS JUST GOT 4-6 INCH OF THAT FLUFFY WHITE STUFF!  So get out there and Plow the runs, don’t be scurred try some new tricks! You will be healed in time for next year’s BIG TRIP and this location just may top CANADA!

 

-Wednesday 4/14 @ 9:30: Spring Quarter Broomball! This is your last chance to ball it up on the ice for the school year. Everyone is welcomed and its free! Just grab a broom and bust a Michael Jackson [(oooHhOoo!( Crotch Grab)] all night! We have some small prizes for those with shredtacular skills! Also this is the night to get you name in for E-Board (which y’all want to be a part of) all you have to do is give us your name and what you want to run for and ur nominated! -Thursday 4/15 @ U-hour: In building 9 room 269 is our first workshop in complying with the school during our probation period. We will be having guest speakers from The Pride Center talk about who they are and answer any question form us.  This will be fun and informative! Pizza will be provided as usual. This is a very important meeting and we need a MINMUM of 30 people to show up to keep the club alive, so bring your friends! Free pizza and all are welcomed!  Be respectful of our guests, no goofing off or obnoxious comments/questions or you will be removed from the club. Also each person who shows up gets a raffle ticket for a chance to win a snowboard once all of our workshops have been completed. Elections for next year’s E-board are this Quarter! So a few of you lucky souls will be in charge of the club! Nominations will be at Broomball. E-boarders get: discounted/ free trips, Madd hook ups, Meet and work with a great group of people, great experience, learn valuable skills in life. Being on Eboard can Help your networking dramatically, expand your horizons at school, and it looks good on your resume. We need dedicated people who can improve on the year before! Straight up it will change ur life!

-E-Board positions:
President (Boss) – Over sees what’s going on making sure everyone is on task. Responsible person for the club to rely on.

Vice President (El Don) – Implements the agenda and is the jack of all trades, helps out where ever.

Treasurer (Sticky Fingers) – Obliviously in charge of the money, Keeps track of money and spending, detailed spread sheets.

Webmaster (Speedy Finger) – In charge of weekly Emails, Responding to Emails, and updating website and club pages. Anything dealing with the club online.

Chair of Membership (The Shit) – Knows who is and is not a member keeps updated list of members. This person is “the Shit!” in a good way because they are responsible for all of the clubs stuff like shirts, sweaters, EZ-up, banner, poster board… all the shit, but its good shit so you know!

Public Relations (The Situation) – In charge of marketing and promotion of the club. Also responsible for coming up with new ideas for events and making sure they run smoothly. Also the person who deals with our relationship with school. Attends meetings etc....
